How to make QTP settings uniform across systems?

In our team, we are about 4 members. If want our QTP to have unique settings, then it takes time for us to set the same type of settings in every system, we are working with.

The only way that comes to my mind is to use QTP AOM in a vbscript and execute them.

But is there anyother way to do it?

Is there a QTP config file or something where all the settings are stored so that I could copy them to appropriate systems and thus make the settings uniform?

    Please let me know!!

create a VBScript for all your prefered settings and use this script on each client

You can use a config file to set standard settings. As was said the best way to do this is to distribute a Vbscript with the settings and have user start QTP from the script

Using the script as launhcer is the best option, however you can give a try by calling the settings code as a function in one of your common script/action.

AOM would use the existing QTP instance to do the settings, but i am not sure on whether this would be effect in case mapping folder paths since, there already would be a warning for missing objects before executing the script.
    Cheers

    Hi,
So I guess, VBscript would be the better option for the
    doing this!!

    Thanks a lot...

Please let me know if there are any more ideas that I
    can try out!
