Testing Page Layout in Different Browsers
I searched the forums for this topic and thought there would be considerable content. I didn't find any answers. Also did not find a general area where I could post such a question.
How are you guys testing that the page appearance is the same across multiple clients? Is anyone using QTP for this? A different tool? Manual testing?
Re: Testing Page Layout in Different Browsers
QTP only has support for IE and partial support of FF. No support for Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc. So it is not a good candidate. Even if it were, think of the maintenance headache of having every style property of every object in the object repository...per browser.
Such look and feel testing across browsers is manual in my shop.
