Consider I have 3 actions in test flow -
Is there any easy way to stop a2 from being executed in test run. Crude way would be to comment a2 but what if there were many actions to be excluded from test run? I am using QTP 10.0

Well one way would be you set a flag using Test Parameter and then use that Flag to check if the Action should be run or not.
2nd option will come soon in PowerDebug which would allow you to Jump anywhere in the code during run-time

PowerDebug? is that a HP product Tarun? Sounds very interesting.
A quick fix I have used in the past is to wrap the whole action in a function
Action2 Code Start
Action2 Code End

Well I ended up in modify script file for Action 0, removal of actions from this would remove them from test flow pane.
Having worked on selenium with fancy java editors, I must confess debugging has been huge disappointment with QTP for me.
Why have actions in the script if you are not calling them.
better approach would be to delete the actions , this will ensure the size and associated files also reduces

Just to debug a specific actions, I did not want all corresponding actions to be executed, I though QTP would have some thing like "Disable for Exe" for an Action
