Click on a page in IE
I have a screen in my AUT( IE browser application) which contains a business rule to enable a drop down field and a webelement field only when the date populated is more than one year from the current date.
a)The issue is that the Term and Interest Payment Frequency drop down field gets enabled only when the user clicks on the page after populating a date greater than one year from the current date.Refer attached document for more details.
b)Using QTP I dont know how to automate the part of clicking the web page. I even tried using "WScript.Shell"
sendkeys object but it does not work.
c)When I spoke with the developer he informed me that they use ajax technology in the application they have developed.
Can somebody help me.
a. IE 6 browser.
b. QTP 10.0
c. Windows XP with service pack 2.
Re: Click on a page in IE
Try Browser.Page.WebEdit.fireevent "mouseout"
If it still does not work, try Settings.ReplayType = 2
