I a qtp script we could call to an existing action
and statements of the form
Run Action [ActionName],iteration ,param1,param2,etc comes up
can i insert a call to an existing action in my main qtp script
remove the statement from the editor and can have
the statement :Run Action [ActionName],iteration ,param1,param2,etc
in function libraray associated with the main action and parameterise the same?
i do not have qtp on my machine and could not try it out.
Please let me know ,appreciate your inputs
As long as you have mapping, the same code should work in a function library also.
But if you moving them external source, why not use functions for such calls.

If I can comprehend:
Remove the RunAction statement from Expert view without deleting the action call(After Inserting call to existing action)
Place the RunAction statement in external lib and execute the Action
