web objects as they appear in browser
I have also posted in other website forums
I have a list of object names on a web page(and the url) as I used a script to extrect all the objects (webedits etc) from a browser page but this lists them in object type order. Is there a way to use this list and interrogate the same page and reorder them to reflect the order they appear on the browser?, i.e. left to right top to bottom.
obj1 is an editbox and is the first object on the page the next edit box is obj2 but its the third object on the page with the second object being a weblist. kinda doing a sort in order of apperance?
Is this possible?
Re: web objects as they appear in browser
Not as far as I can tell. There is a "Location" property that QTP creates, but it is per object type. So in your example, obj1 and the weblist would both have a Location of 0.
