Getting value from a table
The application has no. of records. The first page shows a table of 10 records. The other records are in the following pages. I have to click next to go to the next page. Now I have to check for a record in this application. I assume that I have to use GetRoproperty. But I don’t know how QTP find a particular record and find the text property. When I used object spy to see the property of the record, it shows as a “web element: name.“
And I couldn’t understand how QTP moves from one record to another record and to go to all the pages (I think I have to use ‘if’ and ‘for’ loops). How can I specify column.

Yes, you will have to use a loop to increment row numbers. You can refer to .ChildItem, .ChildItemCount methods of the Webtable in QTP Help. You can search for the above keywords through the internal help as well.
