Does anybody know how to use virtual objects in QTP to allow navigation of all features of a product that is coded in Python?
I am not sure what virtual objects are and how this is used in QTP. I'm hoping that somebody has done this before, who may in turn be able to assist me with this.

Virtual Objects essentially just map some x/y coordinates to create a virtual object. Only really useful if all machines running the test are using the same resolution.
They are stored at a machine level as well. So in order to share them you have to move them to an Object Repository, here's a post on that. http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.php?Ca...true#Post567588
not sure if QTP supports Python, i suggest try or search for some other tool, rather spending time on virtual object for reusablity using virtual object is not a good idea!

And moreover if you are plannning to automate completely using virtual objects, a big No, it can be looked at for usage in some case, but not completely though.
