I have a Silverlight application that runs in a browser window. When the user activates a link, a second browser is loaded. This browser object contains a web page object, some web edit objects, and a web button object.
The problem that I seem to be having is that it takes minutes for QTP to do anything with the second browser object or its children. Even doing something like Browser("").Fullscreen takes a while to accomplish. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what might be going on. The last I worked with this project, this sort of thing was not a problem, meaning that there was no lag time while I was waiting for QTP to do its magic. Since then, I'd gone on vacation and no one else had access to the automation project or my computer, so nothing about my local installation of QTP or the project will have changed. The only thing that I can think of is that there was a Silverlight update recently pushed out by Microsoft and my computer would have taken that as part of the automagic updates.
So... any thoughts on this? Like I said, none of my settings would have been changed since I last used this project.
