    Capture observable events

With QTP, it's very easy to capture actions that the user perform on the GUI. However, I don't know how to capture observable actions (actions that initiated from the SUT, not from the user). Anyone has ideas on this? Thanks very much.

Example of observale actions: assuming you want to test a email client. When a new email comes to your mailbox, a notification is displayed in the bottom corner of the window. In this case, notifying the user about a new email is an observable action.

If you can be quick enough, manually add your object to thee OR. Then you can use the Exist method to verify it appearance.
