    anyone knows how to get the location of test in a test lab QC during runtime?

    Re: QC TEST LAB FOLDER from QTP?

    here a function to get the QC fodler path for current test:

    '================================================= =========
    Public Function a_ext_QCSubjectPath ()
    '================================================= =========
    On Error Resume Next
    Dim otaTest, otaTreeManager
    Dim sTemp
    Dim strPath
    Set otaTreeManager = QCUtil.TDConnection.TreeManager
    Set otaTest = QCUtil.CurrentTest
    a_ext_QCSubjectPath = otaTreeManager.NodePath (otaTest.Field("TS_SUBJECT").NodeID)
    Set otaTest = Nothing
    Set otaTreeManager = Nothing
    On Error GoTo 0
    End Function

    de omnibus dubitandum

    For all Questions: Please be sure to take a look at the QTP Manual before posting any Questions, thanks for doing this

    Re: QC TEST LAB FOLDER from QTP?

    thanks rscholz660, what I was looking is the path of Test Lab, not a Test Plan. I forgot about QCUtil, so the solution is here:

    QCUtil.CurrentTestSet.TestSetFolder.Path
