Finding the location of and then right clicking
I have a grid I need to right click on a header for, right now my work around is merely
SwfWindow("Application").SwfTable("gridControl_4") .Click 450, 15,micRightBtn
But this obivously is analogous with recording an analog event. To make this more robust I thought there should be a way to find the coordinates of the header the way QTP does on its own here.
SwfWindow("Application").SwfTable("gridControl_4") .SelectColumn "Header5"
Basically how do I find the relative coordinates of that header so that I can save those values and send the right click there, or is there a way to tell the MouseMove command to find the header rather than go off of coordinates, and then have the mouse right click?
Is there a command similar to sending keyboard strokes for mouse clicks?
Re: Finding the location of and then right clicking
Use ClickCell method to do right click.
See the QTP help files for details.
