MySQL Database Checkpoint
I am using free stuff to host my test application locally: MySQL Server 5.1, PHP and Apache Web Server. I am using Quick Test Professional version 10.0. I want to insert a database checkpoint.
So I go the Insert>Checkpoint>Database checkpoint. First I try the default using Microsoft query but it says that isn't avaliable. So I opt to create the SQL statement manually. Then it asks for a connection string. What am I supposed to enter here? Also, do I not have to configure the database as an ODBC source somehow?
Re: MySQL Database Checkpoint
In XP you need to create a system DSN or in Vista a User DSN so QTP can get the connection string info.
