Is it possible to use the GetROProperty("all items") method to retrieve the entire list of items in a treeview object?
Maybe this is just more of my ongoing woes with wpf objects.
I have a wpfTreeView object and I want to see all of its contents. So I used GetROProperty("all items") to put the contents in a variable, but I get an error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
However, the QTP Help documentation lists "all items" as one of the available properties for this object class and it should return the full list separated by a new line character between each item.
Which made me wonder if this is even possible to do with a GetROProperty at all, maybe even whether it's possible on any other (non-wpf) treeview objects.
How about if you try getting the items count of the tree and use a for loop to get the item's name..(or by using getitem property, to get the name of the node)..
Something like below (in Java env)
i = JavaWindow(emscm).JavaInternalFrame(strView).JavaT ree(strTree).GetROProperty("items count")
For n=0 to i-1
ne=JavaWindow(emscm).JavaInternalFrame(strView).Ja vaTree(strTree).GetItem (n)
