Re: Need a work around for a missing go button in ie7
Thanks, I am coding against share point and on certain pages for what reason I can't see browser().navigate does nothing. But if I use that code and then click the refresh button it takes me to the page. If I am on any of the root sharepoint pages browser().navigate works fine. Anyhow I think this work around will due for now.
Thanks, but I spent a good hour trying to find it and gave up. However it would not have solved my issue. The format of the URL's in my web app are formed as such "http://site#where%I%need%to%go" The only part of the navigation that changes is after the "#" mark so IE ignores it and hitting enter never moves me to the page I need to go to. So the work around in the case is to force a post back and IE will then evaluate the address past the # mark. Very odd indeed but confirmed this with the dev team. So in order to navigate the site I use Browser.Navigate and click the refresh button to post back.
