I have a WebEdit box whose values chnages at run time. How to check its Alignment. If i check the Alignment through Bitmap Checkpoint then since its data chnages every time my checkpoint fails. Is their any way to check the Alignment??
First, why are you using QTP to validate your apoplication look and feel? That's much better suited to a pair of human eyes.
I assume if you still feel the need to go through with it, then that must be either because your devs have a habit of moving stuff around in unpleasant ways or because the object placement may be dynamic at run-time.
Are you just talking about x,y coordinates and height, width? I assume the alignment of this edit object should match other objects on the screen, and you can spy on those to get the expected values.
Then just use .GetROProperty to get these properties and compare against your expected values.
If those other objects are also dynamic, and therefore difficult to predict the expected values, you can always use GetROProperty to get the x property of any objects in question and then compare them, then do it again for y, again for height, and again for width.

Thanks for your quick response ...Well if i use the standard checkpoint then also it won't solve my problem much. I need to check for my text value not on the label( WebEdit). How to check the Alignment for the Text value??
