I am trying to click on the link which is not unique.
For example : there is list of searches displayed by search name "Run Search"is the link to run a particular search.
There can be 25 such searches on a particular page.
At any time, with the same credentials, (say for user A) Multiple scripts are logging in with same id and creating searches. For example Test_script1 is creating search: "Test1", Test_script2 is creating search Test2 and Test_script3 is creating search: "Test3".
However, these scripts run concurrently and hence, there is no definite order in which Test1, Test2, Test3 are created.
I need to identify these "Run Search" links unequally. Through Object spy no single property is unique (except the encoded search value which is generated dynamically when a search is created)
In this case, setting Object identifying properties as "index" or "creation time" (sequence of creation is not definite), "location" (all links are in same frame) does not work
I observed that these links are in a web table. Can someone please guide me about using row/column number of a web table of these links to identify them unequally?
Any other suggestions are welcome.
I've developed a routine that I use for navigating WebTables that is essentially a coordinate system. If you can rely on a column/row being specific to each search result then you can use the column/row data as coordinates to the cell containing the link you want and click it.
