Realistic Max Number of Actions
I am wondering, what is the realistic maximum number of actions for a QTP test plan?
I understand that you can have as many as you want. But, right now I have test plans that are approximately 100 actions large, and about 20 MB in size.
Switching between these test plans on average 60 secs, and saving the test plan can take on average 50 secs.
Is 100 actions too large? My common object repository is about 200kB, which is why the test plan is about 20 MB.
Re: Realistic Max Number of Actions
You should consider turning your reusable actions into function libraries to drastically improve performance. As well as break up your repository into common subsets and load on demand.
