I have the object identification set for brower to title, and the same way objects are stored in the repository.
Script ran fine until yesterday, but today when I did object spy the value of title property is showing as URL,
like previously title property has value = yahoo,
but today title property has value=www.yahoo.com
for the same application when opened on another system and spyed on the the brower it shows the title property value as Yahoo only.
I have share Object repository which has many brower objects and all the values for title property are parameterized.
Now all the scripts are failing because title property value is mismatched.
Can anyone help me as to what the change is in identifying the brower object.
Use a regular expression to check for a title that contains 'yahoo'. Or use a different property to identify. Or compare browser settings on the machines if it wasn't a new software build that caused that. If it was just a software update, update your OR.
I am thinking that this issue may be of any changes in the browser settings, on one system browser title property has one value where as on the other system browser title property has someother value....
I am missing something here which I am not able to figure out...
Try using "Name" as a identification property for Browser.
