I have a test case, where in I have to use putty application to configure/access my app.
I can automate the putty application using TE addin or using DP. But I was just thinking, if there is a way by which I can completely eliminate automating putty UI and do it via some background API or something.
Does QTP provide any built in classes which I can use to bypass putty UI and still achieve my goal.
I think there are NO API facility from QTP to work with Putty, but if you wanna get rid of Putty UI, you can use command line args of putty to fulfill your requirement
Here is the sample command
putty.exe [-ssh | -telnet | -rlogin | -raw] [user@]host
please look at putty user manual for more info
