Invoke Multiple command prompts at the same time
Greetings of the day.
Im facing a problem here.
Now what im trying to do is we have 4 folders in our hard disk. Assume lets call it "C:\Folder1" , "D:\Folder2", "E:\Folder3" and "F:\Folder4".
there are subfolders in each of these. what happens is that we invoke the command prompts and navigate to the folders mentioned.
from there we have our command that uses a feature :
eg : [command prompt] C:\Folder1\<our command> and press enter. We see a message that -> this feature is in use.
We later press enter again and close the command prompt.
now we have to invoke another command prompt either for the same path or for a differnt path and do the same activity.
what we wanted is at least 4 command prompts to open at the same time ..do activity and close at same time.
I think we have to write a batch file and then call it.
If some got confused, i will share the code.
Re: Invoke Multiple command prompts at the same time
as you mentioned you would invoke multiple command prompts at the same time and then perform the required operation on them one by one... you might face issues in playback since there would be multiple instances of the same object.. in such a case you might wana include an ordinal identifier such as an index in the command prompt window object's description...!!!
