I have a test script with 250+ test actions. Does anyone know if placing the Object Repository on a network share, instead of on QC, will speed up the script execution? Any thoughts?
Also, would moving the function library from QC to a network share improve performance?
Thanks in advance.
250 Actions will never have good performance.
No matter, where resources are located.
Change your architecture.
It is what it is. For now, that cannot be changed. I'm trying to get the optimal performance despite the number actions in the script.
Then, NO way...
Just accept what you have.
I dont thing netwwork share will help in your case, optimisation is the only way to get better performance

if you can place all the files on the local machine will help.
I would recommend breaking the actions into a function library vbs file and see if that helps.

I also recommend replacing your actions with function library calls. Action performance is unacceptably slow for me after just a few, can't imagine 250.
