Do I have to use data table to store the output?
Sorry if this question is too naive.
I am a little confused by the machanism to grab the 'Output Value' and then use the global sheet or local sheet to store it for later usage. Can I just use a scalar variable or my own data structure, e.g. array to store the value? Can I get an example?
The spread sheet type of thing feels like an extra layer which is not always necessary for a simple check.
Re: Do I have to use data table to store the outpu
Yes. You can.
I'm sure it will be better then 'Output Value'.
I never use it.
If I want to send data into DataTable,
I write it directly to the DataTable:
DataTable.Value("Name", "Abc") = "Janna"
If I want to read it:
myVariable = DataTable.Value(ColName, SheetName)
Read Help about managing DataTable. There are lot of useful functions: Value by row, count columns, Set current row and read all data in the loop and so on.
