I have a test case that i run every day, so when ever it causes an error (if the object is not found or internet explorer time out, or due to some other reason)i want to stop the test completely. Now what i do is if the error pops out i have to manually say to rety or stop or skip the step. I want to make is automatic, so that even thought i run batch files and there is an error i want to stop the current test and run the other test case.
In batch running - there will not be PopUps.
No matter, what QTP settings do you have on your machine.
BatchRunner designed and coded not to activate QTP messages.
To stop TC on Error - you have to write in every TC kind of Recovery. Using If statement and ExitTest.
In this case, when If would be executed and TestCase stopped by your code - batch will go to the next TC without problem.
