I have created a Add-in for QTP using TEA (Testing Extensibility). It shows up in add-in manager and works perfect, but we have problems running the tests from QC.

In test we associate add-in with the test. When we try to run the test through QC, the QTP will not be executed with our add-in. Standard add-ins work ok.

It's probably related to the problem that when I use QTP automation and use Application object's method GetAssociatedAddinsForTest, I only get standard add-ins "Web", "ActiveX" etc.

Example of how to get associated add-ins

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>

Set qtApp = CreateObject("QuickTest.Application") ' Create the Application object

arrTestAddins = qtApp.GetAssociatedAddinsForTest("C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\Tests\TEAAUTDEMO") ' Create an array containing the list of addins associated with this test

For Each testAddin In arrTestAddins ' Iterate over the test's associated add-ins list
WScript.Echo testAddin

</pre><hr />

Has anyone else had this problem? How to make test run from QC?
