I am new to QTP. I just started writing QTP scripts.
I wanted to know the best practices for reviewing the QTP scripts. Please share with me your thoughts on this.
Is there any way to review the QTP scripts from the machine
where QTP is not installed. For example if you write a C/C++/JAVA program and you want to get them reviewed by our manager. Though the manager does not have java/C++ installed on his machine, he can open the corresponding programs in some kind of editor and can pass on his commnents/feedback on this code. Similarly can we do it for QTP scripts? Can we review the QTP scritps from the machine where QTP is not installed?
Whenever the QTP test is created you can find a folder named with current test name.Click that folder with in that folder you see two actions one is action0 and action1.click on action 1 folder. you can find Script.mts.Now Open a notepad.Drag and drop script.mts into notepad. Now you can get the scripts you have written save the file and send it to the required person.
The issue what you have listed does not exist, works fine in my machine- stupid comment from the developer
