How to assign objects in QTP
I have a question.. (I am not sure if the title is correct)
I have the following:
Browser("4.0.071.5").Page("GApp - 4.0.071.5").Frame("Frame").gCarePhoneTextBox("gCar ePhoneTextBox").set
So, when I change the version of my app, the script will stop running... or if the name of 'frame' changes.. etc..
What are the solutions? Why Can't I just ask QTP to find that object, wherever it is found? (theres only one gCarePhoneText with that property in all the screen..?
set MainApp = Browser("4.0.071.5").Page("GApp - 4.0.071.5")
Or similar... any ideas?
