Check PDF SubMenu status(Enabled or Disabled)

    Hi All,

In one of my assignment, I have to save a pdf report.
PDF report is opened in the browser. I want to use the File Menu option to save file in a particular location. What I found that when a PDF file is opened in a brower sometimes "Save" subMenu is enabled sometimes "SaveAs.." .
Now I want to check which is enbled and use it. How can I check whether the File--> Save OR File --> SaveAs... is enabled.

    Thanks

Re: Check PDF SubMenu status(Enabled or Disabled)

Just put a simple conditional loop saying if File > Save exist then (Perform an operation ) or else File > Save As exist then (Perform an operation). This simple logic should help your problem. Thanks!!

Re: Check PDF SubMenu status(Enabled or Disabled)

You can try inserting checkpoints for both the options and use the If condition as mentioned above. To avoid any error/warning being logged you can place these checkpoints between "Reporter.Filter = rfDisableAll" and "Reporter.Filter = rfEnableAll" statements. But be careful about when you disable and enable, as it can suppress other valid errors/logging which you might want to see.
