    Re: File Download dialog

What error message are you getting? Is QTP able to recognize "Open" button object?

Try recording all steps related to downloading a File and then Re-run to see if it works. If its working then using properties stored in Object Repository you can convert your script into DP.

By the way any specific reason to use DP in your script to download Files?

    Re: File Download dialog

When you recorded your script, QTP must have added Browser, Dialog and WinButton object in Object Repository. Refer test object properties of Browser, Dialog and WinButton object and use only those properties to create DP script.

    Re: File Download dialog

As you said, QTP is not throwing any error message which means it is recognising "Open" button object and clicking somewhere.

Try removing 10,4 from Click and only use Click method without any parameters.

    Re: File Download dialog

    SystemUtil.CloseAllProcesses("Word.exe")

It will close all instances of Word application.

    [ QUOTE ]
Try removing 10,4 from Click and only use Click method without any parameters.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Instead of this, try creating new virtual object and clicking it.
