Checkbox within a WinListView item
Got a rather annoying problem and I can't think of a solution
Basically, I've got a dialog box with a WinListView item, and inside there is a set of three checkboxes, now because they are in a WinListView, they aren't showing up as their own objects. This is ok for setting the checkboxes because I can cheat and use up and down keys and just use the space key to set them on or off, but I have no way or checking the state has changed
This is where the problem is, because I would like to be able to verify the state of each check box after I've dealt with it
But I have no idea how I'd do this, any ideas or help would be much appreciated
Re: Checkbox within a WinListView item
Few things you can do.
1. Record the operation and see whether you are able to access the checkbox in the recorded test script.
If yes, then well and good. Else try step 2.
2. Try to do an object spy on the checkboxes and see if you get any details about the checkbox like classname etc.
If yes, then using childobjects method of winlistview object you can access the checkbox details.
