    how to automate applications on linux

    hi i am new to QTP, my application needs to be tested on windows as well as linux(fedora), my doubt is that qtp is only for windows, how would i test applications on linux environments ? qtp helps me in testing my appli in windos os,but wat abt on linux, are there any tools for automation in linux i mean other than windows OS.
