QTP doesn\'t select a node in a Jtree with value ;
QTP doesn't select a node in a JTree with value ";" .
When i try to run a recorded script that simply selects a node from a tree,it throws following error when a node with value ";" has to be selected,
"Cannot identify the item (for object "TVAJTree"). Verify that this item's properties match an item currently displayed in your application."
If I am not wrong, ";" is used in the node path; eg "root;chilld1;child2" - this is the actual path of a node "child2" in a JTree.
Is there any escape character that can be used to overcome this problem?
I tried using "\", it doesn't work.
Thanks in advance!!!

Setting.Item("TreePathDelimiter")="#" 'Can use anything as delimiter
If you want to select a tree item with hierarchy:
root -> node1 -> node2;value , your input should be:
