I have worked on winrunner and wanted to know following things about QTP checkpoints
1)Do we have Multiobject checkpoints in QTP? In winrunner we have Windows checkpoints where all objects under window can be checked using one checkpoint. How to do same thing in QTP?
2)Winrunner created checklists files.Where does QTP stores such information abt checkpoints? As I understand it is somewhere in .mtr file, but I am unable to read that.
3)In my winrunner framework we created checklists for all windows at once and then GUI_check was called for each window where checklist name and expected result file name was passed.
This gives advantage that we need not to create checkpoint in record session.
How to do same in QTP?
4)Where exactly all expected results are saved? In winrunner we have exp directory
Not sure why I got two replies mentioning that these are basic questions!
I further investigated and found that QTP does not have windows checkpoint at all i.e. we can't have multiple object/multiple properties checkpoint.1st question's answer
Those who have used winrunner and QTP both, can they please answer rest of the questions?
I am new to QTP and as of now trying to find out equivalent for WR functionalities
