Passing variables between actions
Hello, I am pretty new to QTP, and am stuck on one thing that I wasn't able to solve by reading the tutorials.
Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
One step performed in Action 1 is to retrieve the current URL, and assign it to a variable called "homeURL". After performing some other checks, I then call Action 2. I need to pass the variable "homeURL" and it's current assigned value from Action 1 to Action 2.
Please note that homeURL is not a constant that is defined up front, but rather value that needs to be retrieved each time Action 1 is run.
I am not sure how to properly configure the input/output action parameters between the two actions. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
