how to check image is visible on web page
i have a problem identifying an image is visible on the page. Similar to a scroll bar, my company's web page displays 3 images at a time. an end user has the ability to scroll to the left or right by clicking the corresponding arrow.
so what i have done so far is use dp to recoginze the specific images. the only problem is, that QTP recognizes all images, visible and hidden. my test is to verify that when clicking on an arrow the images are shifted, and each slot now displays a different image:
slot1 slot2 slot3 (hidden)
image1 image2 image3 | image4
click right arrow shifts images to the left
(hidden) slot1 slot2 slot3
image1 | image2 image3 image4
does anyone know of a way to verify that slot1 - slot3 can be verified as visible on the page?
Re: how to check image is visible on web page
1) May be you could use the "visible" property
2) If possible use OR to identify the images. Then use GetROProperty to get the x,y coordinates of the 4 images before clicking an arrow. Now click an arrow and make a comparison of the coordinates to what they were before the arrow was clicked. You should, thus, be able to verify if your images have moved in accordance with the arrow clicked
