My query may seems to be stupid, but i need solution for that
I have to get the rownum of a webtable inwhich im going to click a link[cell]
i can get the solution by surfing all the rows and columns in a loop by verifying the clicked link name, but its not efficient one i hope
is there any short or tricky way to do this?
ok i got it
Set object = PageObj.WebTable("micclass:=WebTable","html tag:=TABLE","class:=ellipsis")
RowNum = object.GetRowWithCellText (item3, 8, 2)
Do you know the co-ordinates of the cell..??
What if the cell value changes dynamically...??
you would have to find the row number and iterate from the starting, may be you can look to start from a predefined number for both rows and columns if you feel starting from 1 is not required.
