DB checkpoint compare expected DB data (it was saved when the script has been recorded) with actual.
But it's not always good.
For example, DB table has 2 columns: name, salary.
I want to verify that when I click the button (in the application), the data from this table will be shown.
If the salary had been changed, the DB checkpoint will fail.
I want the expected data would be saved as sql-query (works with actual DB data).
Then the checkpoint will pass when the data in DB had been changed.
How I can do it?
Re: DB checkpoints
You will need to code this in the expert view.
Create a connection with your DB (i.e. Set objConnection = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")). Create a query. Run query. Verify.
