DT values treated as Strings -Work around for int,
I am trying to implement my own custom checkpoints for my application. I have all the values in a Excel sheet and it is imported into the runtime data table and reading the values. How ever I found that all the values irrespective of integers or boolean values they are treated as strings when trying to validate.
DataTable looks like
Property | Value
disabled | 0
visible | True
When I call the code like
p1 = Datatable("Property")
v1 = Datatable("Value")
If browser("x").Page("x").WebButton("x").GetROPropert y(p1)= v1 then
It fails altough the button is enabled and visible. Reason the values are treated as Strings (I guess). when I use
CInt and CBool before comparing they work. Is there any other work around for this without using these functions???
Re: DT values treated as Strings -Work around for int,
Make them as integers in excel sheet by right click on the particular cell and selct format text and select number in tye list
