In QTP Tools->Options->Runs tab
Allow other mercury products checkbox should be checked.

Re: Multi Test Manager

I got that too, no idea why
It works if I start qtp manually first
but that shouldn't be necessary

Re: Multi Test Manager

For me the "Test Batch runner" works
I wonder if the problems with MTM are
related to the fact that it is a 8.2 tool
and i am using qtp 9.5

Re: Multi Test Manager

Try opening the QTP application and then exceute your batch from MTM.
To use this tool, you need to have QTP and MTM opened, MTM doesn't launch the QTP 9.x versions.
Since this MTM tool was developed way back with QTP versions 7.x and 8.x and it was developed by some Mercury developer and HP didn't supported this tool.

Re: Multi Test Manager

Hi everybody,
I don't know if you have tried this:

The Multi Test Manager utility needs to be registered in order to run. First copy the utility to the “<QTP>\Bin” directory. Then open a command prompt and go to the “<QTP>\bin” directory and type the following at the command prompt:
MultiTestManager.exe /REGSERVER
If you don’t install Multi Test Manager in the “<QTP>\bin” then some additional features will be disabled however all the basic features will still work.

For me, it helped even tought it is needed to repeat this every time I restart/turn-off PC.

But this is not working if you are calling MTM from VBScript. But i'm working on changing this
