I dont really understand whats going on? Anybody ever faced something like this. Its not recording any of the activex objects any more, but can run the script with activex objects that is recorded before...!!!

Re: QTP not recognizing ActiveX objects on windows app
Had that problem crop up on occasion with QTP9.2 with the object spy and running tests(don't do any recording). Sometimes running quicktestprofessional.bat would resolve it. On others I had to do a clean uninstall/reinstall. And man does qtp ever leave a mess in the registry after it is "uninstalled".
It would only affect it's ability to recognize certain activex fields but work fine on others. With the same setup on around 100 pcs, this problem would crop up on one or two every other month or so. Mercury was never able to provide any insight other than to run the .bat file.
