In my application, There are number of hidden edit boxes in the activeX control, When I click on particular part of ActiveX, that part will be convereted into an edit box.
The problem i am facing here is: I need to enter value in this edit box.
I was using Click (x,y) but it seems to be not stable and most of the time my script fails.
Read the documentation for click function ... the coordinates that follow "click" are the coordinates where the click happens(x, y) (they are not control locations)
... Technically speaking if you remove the coordinates after the click .. the effect would same as clicking at the middle of the control.
Try doing Click 0,0 or Click 1,1 -- this means click near top left corner of the control ... some times this trick worked for me ...
Hi Sajid before clicking the particular part of the activeX, use object spy and get the Object type, Class. Create a Description find the count then by using a loop you do the click event. I solved this issue in my Web application by using this method. Try it and let me know.
