We are using QTP 9.0. To reduce physical footprint of monitors, we would like to use a KVM to switch. Thus my question: is it possible to run QTP scripts from 4 PCs (all connected to the KVM with 1 monitor). I do not have the KVM in place yet to test it out, if you have done it I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
1. For this you don't need additional monitor at all.
2. No phisical switch is requited.
3. You can see status of running any and every machine or all of them at the same time.
Use UltraVNC, free available online.
Install and activate it as server on your run machines.
Install it as client on your personal PC.
Now, you can connect to any machine using this program.
If you invoke 3 instances of VNC client from your PC - you will be able to see all your running machines at the same time.
Not only see... You can actially work on every machine: start batch runner, for example...
