    you can run executable and BAT files even using simple Vbscripts but if you are trying to access java jdk classes the answer is no. QTP does not allow us to access method from Java class to extend or implement. and it only works for UI visible operation.

    I guess using Rational you may achieve.(not sure) ask in Rational forum.

    It is possible to create objects JDK classed only if you have atleast on UI element of Java.

    Not the API build in Java.
    The API defined by developer with JAVA.
