Typing to a cell object from DataTable.
I've searched through this website but still struggling to get the solution.
I have TYPE in a cell object of a JavaTable with the value from external excel sheet.my script is
myVal =DataTable.GetSheet("Sheet1").GetParameter("Param1 ").ValueByRow(i)
JavaWindow("myApp").JavaWindow("myScreen").JavaTab le("Table").ClickCell (i-1),1
JavaWindow("myApp").JavaWindow("myScreen").JavaTab le("Table").Type myVal
I don't want to use the SetCell method it should be TYPE method only but scripts are not typing the value I am passing through.If the cells are of type Class JavaEdit then its not a problem but cells are of class JavaObject.
Can anyone help me in this regard?
Re: Typing to a cell object from DataTable.
Why you dont want to use "SetCell" method?does it mean you dont get an option like that?
3rd lineof your code: Is there any error you are getting while 'Type'?
2nd line of your code: ....ClickCell(...) does it click on your desired location and makes the cursor blink to set your value?
