I have WAIT_BEFORE_DISCONNECT set to 188 (minutes) for all users as I was unable to get folks to log off QC and have very limited number of licenses for unlimited number of users.
Problem is, now I have started build processes which need to be run at 0400 and so on, but do not want to have to be here for logging onto the machine at 0359.
I can probably write a vb script to be executed by windows at 0330 to get around the problem, but am hoping perhaps there is a way to overwrite the WAIT_BEFORE_DISCONNECT setting either for a specific user or manually for the user when I log him/her on.
Has anyone else run into this and how have you handled it?
Any and all advise is welcome.
I think these forums are littered with ways to get around the "locked workstation" problem. As for changing the WAIT_BEFORE_DISCONNTED setting, this is a global setting that cannot be overridden or modified on a per-user basis.
