We have a QA lab with several machines and each machine has 2GB memory however after running a script for about 1 1/2 I get a error stating "out of parameter" then clicking on it causes WR to crash and other pop ups appear I.E. "Out of system resources".
We are using WR 8.0
Our application is built with Visualworks Smalltalk.
Is it always happening on the same script? Or is it just a time filaure? If it is just a time factor, WinRunner is notorious for memory issues when you have long running script sessions.
Been an issue since the beginning (well, at least since version 5 when I started working with it). The only suggestion I can give is to break up your tests and allow WinRunner to be restarted to clear out memory.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
I am running one main script with a loop set to run 1000 times..inside the loop there a two other scripts that are called as well. The same scripts are on each machine. We wanted to run this as long as possible. so now I will have to figure out how to get WR to stop and then restart itself.
