I need to run the winrunner scripts from the command prompt.
I can invoke the Winrunner and run the tests
(wrun.exe -t <test> -run -...).
But I can't run the tests from the command line when Winrunner is already open. It does nothing...
I want to run small scripts and don't want to open and close Winrunner all time.
Does anybody know how to do this?
Start WinRunner once with a "test starter"-script that watches for certain input (e.g. checks if a file containing the input parameters for the next script does exist at a certain position) within a loop.
This "test starter"-script calls your tests (using call_close and the input parameters place into this file) and deletes this input file when the test has finished.
If you put an "end-sequence" into this input file, your "test starter"-script will terminate (and WinRunner will close when being started from the command line).
We use a similar approach, as starting WinRunner and loading all libraries, ... takes too much time to do this for each single script.
