Here is the portion of my code that doesn't work.
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
system_date = "2008,02,03,10,04,13"; #this is for debugging, in reality this code will be pulled from a table.
pause(system_date); #this is for debugging
The system date is NOT changing.
If I input those numbers into the date_set_system_date function manually, like this:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>date_set_system_date (2008,02,03,10,04,13);</pre><hr />
It DOES WORK.
It does not work if I use the system_date variable.
Any idea why this is happening?
The reason why I need to do this is because I need to recreate clock in/out data for employees.
you will need to use an eval command to do what you are doing.
If you think about it, the date_set_system_date function is accepting 6 numerical parameters. What you are sending it is a single string. The parameter 1) is an invalid type, and 2) 5 less than required.
Passing parameters 101 really. If you need information on the eval function, look into the TSL online help.
