WinRunner Freezes using java add-in.
I am using WinRunner 8.2 (problem shows up in 9.2 also) with the Java add-in 7.6 (patch installed for jre 1.5 and 1.6). Everything works fine with the test scripts until I open and close a window within the application under testing. At this point WinRunner no longer preforms simple function calls such as set_window("my app"); and obj_highlight("my obj",5); Any standard tsl function will take about 30-60sec to complete. The result in the test results are "AUT is processing input. | Try to increase the timeout control variable." Here is an example of a script:
set_window("my app",5); <- here is where it starts to freeze
WinRunner will not execute the last two tsl statments. I guess my question is, Has anyone had a problem like this using a java application with jre 1.6, or any other java version?
Thanks in advance,

It was a million years ago, but I DID have something similar with a Java app. I got the solution from Mercury (as then was), but even if I could remember what it was, I doubt it would be applicable today.
Notwithstanding all the bad stuff that has been said about HP support, they are the ones you need to go to. You need to hold their feet to the fire.
