html_name changes and makes me trouble...

Hello everybody, this is the situation...

There are some fields in a frame that has the html_name changed according to the customer id that I use... and this makes impossible to use the set_window to fill them up using other custumer id.

    For example:

Bill Day / Bill Code Change 5486-4802-1774-8009

Does any body know how I can solve this ???

Iīve been trying to use kind of...

Bill Day / Bill Code Change * but it doesnīt work !

    Thanks for any help...

A regular expression wouls help you, have you read the chapter on this in the user's guide yet? If not I would suggest you do so.

"!Bill Day / Bill Code Change .*"

Re: html_name changes and makes me trouble...

And I guess you have entered this regular expression into the physical description for this object/window, not into the logical name of it, haven't you?
Does the GUI spy show any other differences in the properties you use for the physical description?

And please follow Tony's advice and take a look at the users guide.

    Regards,
    Juergen

    Hey guys....

    It worked...!!!

the correct way to use is...

    set_window ("\"!Bill Day / Bill Code Change.*\"");

    Thanks,

Groan. That is exactly what Juergen warned you against.

    Oh well.
